Premium online ADHD assessments for children and adolescents

Beyond provides comprehensive private online ADHD assessments for children and young people throughout the UK.

We have made our ADHD assessment process more accessible, convenient and stress-free, whilst allowing children to be assessed in the comfortable setting of their own home accompanied by their parents or carers.

Unfortunately, too many children and young people are struggling to access ADHD assessment services. This needs to change, and we want to be a big part of that change. We firmly believe this shouldn’t be the case, which is why we have developed our online service to be exactly the same as our in-person assessment, in order to reach and be able to help as many children and families as we can regardless of location.

Our comprehensive private online ADHD assessment for children and adolescents is undertaken within a secure and safe online environment.

All of our child assessments are performed by one of our specialist CAMHS Psychiatrists.

After your child has completed the DIVA5 and the other pre-assessment tools, your assessment with our CAMHS psychiatrist is usually around 1 -2 hours. Our aim is for families to have a full and comprehensive understanding following the outcome of the assessment - even if a diagnosis of ADHD is not concluded.

Any relevant or recommended treatment pathways will also be discussed and explained in detail, if there is a recommendation for medication an overview of the different types of medication will be provided.

Once you have had time to discuss your options as a family, we then see you again for a post diagnosis support appointment; this is your opportunity to ask us any questions about the outcome of the assessment or the next steps.

We seek to provide a service that surpasses anything else that we believe is available today, providing individuals and families access to the best people, the best tools that allow us to evidence progression, together with treatment plans, medication delivery and the support provided by our highly qualified and experienced team of multidisciplinary clinicians. All of whom specialise in conducting ADHD assessments.

Benefits of our online
ADHD assessment.

We understand how important it is for children and young people to feel as comfortable as possible when they’re undergoing their ADHD assessment. You know your child best, and you will know whether they may respond better to being in their own environment. If so, our online assessment service may be the ideal solution for you and your child.

Our online ADHD assessment service is no different to our in person assessment, we have simply made it more accessible and convenient. Your child can be themselves in their natural environment, undertaking the assessment at a time that suits them.

There's no need to travel or disrupt daily routines. Plus, you will receive the same exceptional standard of care as you would if you visited us at one of our clinics, including the same assessment pathway and access to the same expert clinical team.

Or, visit us in person.

If you feel your child would feel more comfortable visiting us in person, we also offer the option to come into our clinic and meet our team face-to-face.

What do our online assessments entail?

Our online ADHD assessments take place remotely via a secure and safe patient management system, meaning the assessment and any information is secure: we don’t use Zoom or any other related platform. We understand that in today’s world, many children feel most comfortable when in front of their screens at home, which means your child can undertake their assessment in an environment that they feel comfortable and which they are happy in.

All of our assessments for children and young people are supported by evidence-based, diagnostic tools such as the QB test and executive function tools and will usually involve input from the child, parents or guardians, and teachers and other family members.

By adopting a fully collaborative approach, it helps in supporting an in-depth and objective understanding of how your child's ADHD symptoms may have impacted them throughout their life and how treatments and pathways can help them in the future.

Why choose Beyond?

Beyond Clinics was founded by a team of people who have themselves been diagnosed with ADHD, and also with lived experience of having children with the condition.

Founded in response to the challenges of achieving not only a robust and meaningful ADHD diagnosis via both the private sector and the NHS, we also seek an understanding of treatment options and interventions.

Essentially we walk the same path as you every day, be that from a perspective of having ADHD, or bringing up a child with the condition. We know exactly the kind of service, support and treatment we wish we had received.

So now, it’s our turn to provide the service that we believe every adult, child, carer or family deserves. That’s why throughout our entire service and process we offer services that other ADHD clinics don’t.
